The challenge

Electric bicycles are on the rise. In 2018, 4 out of 10 bicycles sold was an e-bike, which was more than the conventional bike. Especially in the commute, the e-bike is becoming more popular, which is important for improving sustainability in transport. However, charging possibilities are limited. Additionally, current charging facilities don't use green energy and aren't environmentally friendly.

The solution

A solar powered charging station, possibly including a locker system in which users can safely store and charge their e-bike battery. This installation will be completely off-the-grid. Therefore, the energy used to charge a battery will be 100% solar energy. With our product, we want to offer companies the possibility to facilitate employees and/or customers with a sustainable charging station, while also improving their own sustainable image.
