AquaBooster

The business Wabbi strives to realize solutions where reusable products become more tolerated and tolerable. The AquaBooster envisions a future where this is the case for reusable drinking containers.

There is an increasing amount of plastic waste in the world, the current solution is to encourage reduced consumption and to push people towards reusables. These bring their own challenges, especially in care for the products. The cups, bottles and other drinking containers build up dirt and other bacteria over time. Running a dishwasher for just 1 tumbler/cup or bottle is not energy or water efficient, nor can every product be put in the dishwasher. After a while people either forget to clean or just dont, and then when the product gets sufficiently dirty or smelly they throw them out.

The AquaBooster, A machine that can easily and quickly clean these reusable products so that the hurdle to reuse becomes smaller and the products last longer. It can be used in different places and contexts, like sports, coffee bars and on the go spots like stations or schools, for people to quickly and conveniently boost their product to be reused. We had a prototype, but it sadly got broken. Images will be provided. We are looking to make new prototypes and mockups to increase testing to make the perfect solution for the problem.
