Inspiring the maritime sector to focus more on sustainability.

Our mission is to inspire the maritime sector to focus more on sustainable energy. We are a student team that design and build a boat powered by solar energy. By participating in the NK Groenleven Solar Boat race and the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge we want to show what we are capable of. Within our team we have a Sustainability & Innovation department, they will focus on the future of Solar Boat Twente and how we can even more incorporate Sustainability and Innovation within our team. They will look into new ideas and innovations for the future, and will come across multiple challenges in the meantime.

Directing more attention towards the maritime sector. This is a sector which still can be improved a lot in terms of sustainability. Changing this sector will take a lot of effort, time and money, but it is a change we need to make together. Starting this change is better to do sooner than later.
