Mochi

Problem

Students are constantly stressed due to deadlines, exams and obligations. Which can have adverse health effects like burnout and depression. Often the root cause of this can be found in time- and stress related issues. Mochi seeks to address these root causes and increase student well being.

Solution

A time-management and stress-prevention tool made fun through a cute personal assistant called Mochi. Mochi grows based on your well-being. The tool offers interactive break taking sessions, based on how you spend your time. (e.g. 1 hour of studying would mean Mochi suggests you to take a 10 minute break). The way breaks are suggested and acted out are based on research to best help student's improve their wellbeing. On the opposite side, Mochi offers time-management tools (e.g. goals, timers, phone blockers) to keep students focused and engaged. By doing well, Mochi will grow. Resulting in a positive feedback loop that keeps users engaged and motivated. While the break taking, ensures that users don't go overboard.
