Problem

Nicotine addiction is evolving, not disappearing. While cigarette smoking has declined, vaping and other nicotine products have surged, especially among youth and young adults. In recent years, 35–40% of quit smoking attempts have involved vaping as a method. But many users find themselves stuck, continuing to vape for months or years after giving up cigarettes. Quitting smoking cold turkey has a success rate as low as 3–5%. Vaping can nearly quadruple those odds, but it often creates a new dependency. The real challenge isn't just quitting smoking, it’s quitting vaping afterward, and most tools ignore that second phase. HabTics doesn’t. And the challenge doesn’t end there. Many vapers today never smoked to begin with. Our system is designed to support both groups: those using vaping to quit smoking, and those who now want to quit vaping itself.

Solution

HabTics is a smart, personalized system designed to help users reduce or quit nicotine altogether. We combine a Bluetooth-connected vape with an intuitive app that automatically tracks usage, analyzes patterns, and delivers personalized guidance rooted in behavioral science. Users can set custom rules, like limiting puffs per hour or locking the device for parts of the day, and receive motivational support when they need it most. With coaching based on their real data and habits, users build self-control, reduce dependence, and move step by step toward a nicotine-free life.

Mission

HabTics empowers individuals to break free from nicotine by combining smart technology, behavioral science, and personalized support.
