We're looking for someone with 3D modeling skills, but anyone passionate about solving behavioral challenges and eager to contribute to the development of this wearable device is more than welcome to join the project.
SNAIL
Nail-biting is one of the most widespread nervous habits, often starting in early childhood and continuing well into adulthood. Despite its seemingly harmless nature, it can lead to serious consequences—chronic infections, dental damage, and social discomfort. What makes it especially hard to quit is the fact that it’s largely unconscious: most people don’t even realize they’re doing it until it’s already happening. Traditional methods like bitter nail polish or sheer willpower often fail because they don’t address the real issue—awareness in the moment.
Introducing a smart, stylish ring designed to help people break the habit of nail-biting. As someone who has struggled with this unconscious behavior since childhood, I know how difficult it is to stop something you often don’t even realize you’re doing. This ring detects the motion associated with nail-biting and delivers a gentle vibration in real time, making you aware before the habit takes over. Discreet, wearable, and effective, it empowers users to take control and overcome a habit that’s not only unhealthy but often embarrassing.
Fighting anxiety, one tick at a time.
